Noelia R. Deza is a film editor and director based in NYC and Madrid. Her work has screened at festivals including PÖFF Tallinn, Dok Leipzig, Málaga Film Festival, Tirana TIFF and Morelia, receiving awards and grants from DocumentaMadrid, NYFA, the National Endowment for the Arts, La Caixa and the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation. She holds a Master's degree in Film Editing from the Spanish National Film School ECAM, and an MFA in Film Directing from Columbia University. Together with filmmaker Robert Kerr, she is the co-founder of the film collective/production company RioNorte.

As an editor, Noelia builds strong and fruitful collaborations with directors and producers, bringing to the film her extensive experience and training in narrative and non-narrative structure, story and character, rhythm, macro and micro editing, sound and color.
