Noelia Rodríguez Deza is a Spanish film editor and director based between NYC and Madrid. Her work has screened at international film festivals including TIFF Toronto, PÖFF Tallinn, Málaga Film Festival, DOK Leipzig, and Morelia Film Festival. She has received awards and recognition from institutions including New York Foundation for the Arts, DocumentaMadrid, “la Caixa” Foundation, SGAE, and Alfred P. Sloan Foundation. Noelia holds a Master’s in Film Editing from ECAM and an  MFA in Directing from Columbia University. She is the co-founder of the film companies RioNorte LLC (USA) and RioNorte Films S.L. (Spain).

 

As an editor, Noelia brings a deep understanding of narrative structure, rhythm, and visual storytelling to her creative collaborations. As a writer-director, she is currently developing her first narrative feature, La Gravedad y la Gracia.
